The A - Z Of Swimming Pool Cleaning Service Company

Pool cleaning, preparation and first filling of the pool

Whether it is an outdoor or indoor pool, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the pool itself before filling the pool for the first time.
It is logical that outdoor pools are dirtier, and that they are much harder to clean in the spring than indoor ones, which, although protected, still have to be emptied occasionally and thoroughly cleaned (usually once a year).
Due to the above, we will describe here primarily the procedures for cleaning pools and maintaining the water of open swimming pools.

So, first, you need to choose chemicals that do not damage the surface of your pool and must not affect the quality of pool water when filling.
If you are not sure which cleaning agents are the most suitable, read the text that follows carefully or seek the advice.
Pool dirt can be divided into two groups - organic and inorganic (mineral). Dust, grease, oil, leaf debris, flies, etc. are organic impurities,
and inorganic is limescale that is excreted and "caught" on the pool surfaces, sand in the filter, and the walls of the device - primarily el. heaters and heat exchangers.

Important notes:

  • Do not clean the pool in strong sunlight
  • stubborn dirt is better cleaned several times, gradually with less detergent, than once with a stronger concentrate - this way you save the final lining of the pool, and the handling of products is safer
  • Before putting the filter into operation, check the sand in the filter and replace it if necessary, and if you have a cartridge filter, clean the cartridge or also replace it if necessary.
  • check that the pool pump is working properly if you do not service the pump before filling the pool with water after cleaning the pool, coat all surfaces of the pool with a 10% solution of algaecide - this prevents the intensive development of algae in the pool
  • All pools are characterized by the appearance of a dirty line at the point of contact of the water surface and the pool wall. For this purpose, there is a special cleaning agent with which the pool edge can be cleaned without having to drain the water from the pool.

Most common problems:

Dark spots appear in some places in the pool -

solution:
check the pH value and disinfectant and for a faster solution use a dedicated anti-algae agent or pool short-term shock chlorine A slippery/sticky, mostly colorless layer is formed on the rocks and the bottom of the pool - the solution: check the pH value and disinfectant, and chlorine the pool in the short term.
A rough layer is formed on the rocks - the solution: it is necessary to use a means to reduce the hardness of the water.
The water in the pool is cloudy/milky - solution: use a flocculant or water clarifier.
The water has a strong smell of chlorine - the solution: rinse the filter sand (filter filling) thoroughly and change some of the water in the pool.
